Established in 2014, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila has become a Miami Beach principal in the quick service restaurant space. Founded by Menin Hospitality’s Keith Menin & Jared Galbut, Bodega offers traditional Mexican food with a unique and locally inspired twist, led by Culinary Director, Bernie Matz. Not only known for flavorful food, Miami’s best tequila and mezcal cocktails can be found at Bodega by entering through a porta potty or Meat locker door, exposing guests to 2,448 sq ft of a speakeasy cocktail lounge. A large attribute to Bodega Taqueria’s success is due to the inviting sense of design, expressed in its iconic light up neon marquee overarching an authentic airstream trailer. Paired with teal blue Mexican tile among graffiti art and string lights bring out a vibrancy of life to the once abandoned street. Unfinished flooring, exposed pipes, and wood finishes pay homage to a traditional Mexican street taqueria. Starting off as a local initiative, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila’s flagship location resides just past the recently restored Lincoln Road Mall in Miami Beach, has now become a staple in Miami Beach for tourists as well.
